Newsom’s San Francisco house sold in less than a week

All signs point to the San Francisco family abode of Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom being sold, and The San Francsico Examiner may have discovered the true reason why the home was inhospitable to their new brood.

In case you haven’t been following it, Newsom and his wife, Jennifer Seibel Newsom, put their Ashbury Heights home on the market after moving to Seibel Newsom’s in-laws in Marin County.

In less than one week on the Market, the house went to an as-of-yet identified buyer for $2.75 million, according to real estate site Redfin.

There was some question as to why Newsom and the family uprooted to go to Marin. Maybe it was the schools, the natural surroundings or the congressional seat opening up that prompted the move.
